A Day in Friartown

On select days, we invite prospective students to spend A Day in Friartown.

Our Day in Friartown program offers high school seniors the chance to experience life at Providence College firsthand. During this immersive shadow day, students are paired with a current student and spend the day attending classes, engaging with our community, and exploring campus.

Participants sit in on a unique Development of Western Civilization lecture, attend a class related to their intended major, enjoy lunch in Raymond Dining Hall, and get to know students, faculty, staff, and Friars along the way. From exploring campus to having conversations with future classmates and professors, this program is designed to give students an authentic look at what it’s like to be a part of the PC community — both inside and outside the classroom.

By the end of the day, students leave with a deeper understanding of our academics, culture, and spirit — and hopefully a strong sense of whether Providence College feels like home.
